*You can unlock your own device by following the instructions below

*If you want to unlock your own device

  • The instructions for Carrier Network Unlock can be found HERE
  • Please see list of unlocking servers at the following link: HERE

UNLOCK PROCESS - For Network (NCK) Unlock Code

*This process will get you the NCK (Network Unlock Code) & the MCK code, or Master Control Key The MCK code is a special unlock code that is used when the standard network unlock code doesn't work, usually due to multiple incorrect attempts.

*This is only for carriers  like AT&T or Verizon that require an unlock code. Carriers such as T-Mobile use the T-Mobile device Unlock App meaning no unlock code can unlock t-mobile devices. See our "Device Unlock App Service" for explanation.

STEPS

1. Either you or have your customer place another sim card in the device (not the original carrier sim card) and see if the device requests a network unlock code to continue. If it asks for an unlock code this will work. If T-Mobile this service will not work.

2. You need the device IMEI

3. You need to verify the carrier & verify the device is "clean" or NOT on the blacklist (device has to be in clean/or clear status to unlock). If the device is on the blacklist as lost/stolen, you need to perform an "unbarring" service AKA IMEI Repair or IMEI cleaning service to get it back in clean/clear status, then you can get the unlock code. The device will get rejected and return you no unlock code if the device is blacklisted. See our IMEI Repair section if an unbarring service is needed.

4. Go to the Direct Codes unlock server. Most all servers on the Approved Unlock Server List will perform these services but our recommended unlock server for this specific service is Direct Codes.

5. While in Direct Codes Server, run a "Samsung Network Finder" service to find the original carrier.

6. Once you get the results from the Samsung Network Finder service, go submit the device IMEI on a carrier lost / clean / eligibility check service. This specific service will tap into the carrier servers to make sure it is not blacklisted so you can get your unlock code.

7. If device is clean from the results go to the "Samsung Worldwide Z Fold 6 / Flip 6 NCK + MCK Unlock Code Service" and submit the device IMEI and in a couple days you will get both the Network Unlock Code (NCK) and the MCK code. NCK is for unlocking and MCK is the DeFreeze code if you try too many attempts and get locked out of the device. The MCK code will unfreeze the device.

What is an IMEI number & where is it located?

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is a unique identification or serial number that all mobile phones and smartphones have. It is normally 15 digits long. All iPhone and Android devices have an IMEI 1 and some have an IMEI 2. IMEI 1 is the physical sim tray slot and IMEI 2 is reserved for the Esim. We only need IMEI 1 to network unlock the device. Unlocking IMEI 1 will also unlock IMEI 2 (Esim) as well.

To find the IMEI on your Samsung

Go to Settings > About Phone -> Find the IMEI

Open the sim card tray and the IMEI number should be printed on the back side of the physical sim card tray

Look on the original box of the device
